HOW TO MEASURE FOR ONLINE BOOTS FROM RESKATE
Place one foot on a piece of standard blank (computer, maybe) paper and place the other foot beside but not on the paper – preferably on a hard surface floor. Bend both knees slightly and you or someone else trace your foot, keeping the pen or pencil perpendicular to the floor. Set aside and repeat with other foot.
Next: with a ruler. draw a straight line from the longest toe to the center of the heel and then draw a line across the foot at the widest part. Do this for both feet. Measure, (in inches) each line and write the number plus any fraction on each line. Do this for both feet. Last, with a tape measure, wrap it around one foot, at the ball, and write that next to the width measurement.
Finally – if you want Reskate to look for boots (will take longer):
Take a picture of each page and send by email to: reskatesales@gmail.com. . Be sure to include your name and, phone number and age: adult (age not needed) or age of child.
Why not send the boot size? Because no two skate manufacturers size their skates the same. And many boot manufacturers do not size the same within their models. For every skate we sell we create a template from the innersole and, with the measurements supplied by the customer, ReSkate is able to match your foot with 97% accuracy. In 9 years we’ve had fewer than 6 returns.
Although you can send pictures of the boot you wish to trade or sell, final determination is made when the boot is seen in person.
Last, please note: ReSkate is in the process of rebuilding the website. After 9 years, with input of new technology, the old website crashed, could not be rebuilt, and is now back to growing again. There are approximately only 1/4 of available skates online and none of the clothing and miscellaneous items yet … that is slowly changing
