ReSkate guarantees the structural support of all boots,
- No ankle creases that may affect support;
- No toe pick gouges at the toe;
- No mildew or water damage on the inside, innersole or sole of the boot.
- Blades will not be warped (accurate placement for the skater’s feet has to be determined when received by skater and skater will be able to move the blade to the correct position;
RESKATE SELLS NO SKATES ON WHICH THE BLADE HAS BEEN RIVETED.
ReSkates “Jr” Policy
If you purchase boots for your skater who is under 10 years of age and, if you consulted ReSkate for sizing, AND if your child outgrows the skate within 6 months, you may return that boot to receive another boot prorated based on the 6 months. If you purchase a boot for $60 and four months later your child’s foot has outgrown that skate, that skate may be returned for a discount to be applied to a new pair. EG:: Outgrown boot value per month is $10.00 times 4 months = $40 to be applied to another boot. Another boot must be purchased to receive the credit. After 6 months there will be no rebate.
Bargain Boots
Any skating boot paced under the “Bargain” banner has cosmetic flaws while all boots sold by ReSkate are structurally sound. Bargain boots will be cleaned and refinished upon sale and before delivery. At no extra cost all boots are cleaned, the finish restored if possible, the sole waterproofed, the innersole replaced or cleaned and the laces replaced with new.

Consignments
Consignments will be accepted ONLY if:
- The online form has been completed, submitted with pictures and identifying (mfg, model, size) information;
- An acceptance email has been sent to the consignor;
- The product has arrived at ReSkate in undamaged condition. If the package has been damaged in shipment ReSkate will file a claim with the carrier and notify the sender. If ReSkate pays the cost of shipping to receive the item(s) that cost will be deducted from any funds received at sale and the remainder will be sent to the customer within (30) days of sales.
- NO boot will be accepted for consignment should any of the following apply:
- Ankle creases
- Torn lining
- Severely scuffed toes, blade hash marks, raw outer leather (leather finish scraped off)
- Boot tongue lining worn, torn, missing standard padding or compacted padding.
- Stitching on any part of the boot has been severed.
- Upon sale of the consigned merchandise the consignor will receive a check and explanation letter within 30 days of sale for the balance per consignment agreement.
Shipping
All boot orders will be shipped within 3 to 7 business days depending on refinish process required.
The following days are not considered business days and are not calculated into shipping time:
All Saturdays and Sundays
Thanksgiving Day plus the following 3 days
Christmas Eve, Day and following day
New Years Eve and New Year’s Day
All products will be sent USPS or UPS. All returns MUST be by USPS. A tracking number will be provided to you.
Free Shipping
If boots are purchased that include Free Shipping and the boot needs to be returned or exchanged because of sizing the return is at the expense of the purchaser. If ReSkate has been consulted prior to a purchase and all requirements under “Returns” have been met, the return shipping will be free if requested within 10 days of receipt of the boot. After 10 days of receipt, return shipping within the30-day time frame must be paid by the buyer.
Returns – Skates
We understand that sizing is sometimes a difficult process. Returned products must be in the same condition sent, have not been worn (tried on, ok) and in the same packaging they originally arrived in order to receive full credit.
Products returned with the product damaged (unless damaged in shipment – take a picture before you send – will not receive a refund. If damaged in shipment, the refund will be made to the customer and the claim submitted to the shipping partner. When returning ice skates please face the blades in opposite directions so as not to damage the skate boot during shipment.
We try to give our customers, to the best of the information available, correct sizing information. If the customer does not ask for sizing advice, we cannot be held liable for boots that may not fit, if it is based on the information that is shown online. The fitting instructions are based on all the different manufacturers information. If the customer wishes to send foot tracings for boots and have labeled the tracings correctly. ReSkate will provide free postage for a return if it ReSkate had been consulted for fit and has been notified within 10 days of receipt. After 10 days the customer will be required to pay full return shipping cost.
Returns – Clothing
For clothing that shows he manufacturer label, we have done our best to provide their sizing charts, if they are available. Sizing measurements taken by Reskate endeavor to reflect what has been measured accurately and may not match manufacturer’s measurements. Clothing and other items may be returned, at the customer’s expense, any time up to 30 days after receipt

Price for all merchandise for sale on ReSkate, new or previously owned:
Boots are priced on the following:
- Current ‘new’ price less 15%, then is reduced based on the condition as follows: e.g: $300 less 10% = $270.00
- New, never worn same as ‘new’ price: $270
- Like new: less 15% of new: $255
- Excellent less 20% of new: $240
- Very Good less 25% of new: 225
- Good less 35% of new: $195
- Okay less 50% of new $150
ReSkate does not accept or sell any boot where the blade has been riveted to the sole.
