ReSkate has created templates to help find a boot that will fit online buyer’s feet. The template should be up to 3/8″ longer than your longest toe and your foot should be about 1/4″ wider. The template is drawn from the inner sole (sock liner) of the boot.

Klingbeil Boots
– no longer exist but in their time they were considered the elite of skating boots.
Klingbeil boots have been worn by some of the world’s best figure skaters, including Olympic gold medalists Sarah Hughes, Oksana Baiul and Dorothy Hamill; Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen and Olympic bronze medalist Timothy Goebel.
Each pair of Klingbeil boots was custom designed and manufactured for each skater. In addition Klingbeil was able to design and manufacture more diverse product line, including boots for beginner and intermediate skaters, as well as custom shoes and orthopedics.
Avanta Boot Labs took over much of the Klingbeil clientele and continue to be both innovative and considered the most comfortable and best fitting boot on the market.
Previously Owned Boots
At no extra cost all boots are cleaned, finish restored, sole waterproofed and laces replaced with new. If no blade included, former blade screw holes will be plugged and sealed.
Refinishing includes:
— repairing boot enamel finish to new, fixing scuffs and scrapes, refinishing soles and adding new laces
— plugging all blade screw holes and reseal
— if boots come with blades, the blades will be removed, soles refinished, holes plugged and blades remounted with a temp, adjustable mount. Additional screws will be included for completing the mount.
All boots shown in the store are before they’ve been refinished. You will receive a picture, if requested, for your approval, prior to the boots being shipped.
