Bargains
Any skating boot placed under the Bargain banner has cosmetic flaws. However, every boot sold by ReSkate is structurally sound and will be cleaned and refinished upon sale and before delivery. At no extra cost all boots are cleaned, the finish is restored, sole waterproofed, inner soles replaced if possible and laces replaced with new. If there is no blade the screw holes will be plugged and sealed.
Bargain boots may be returned at the purchaser’s cost; please request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) from ReSkate first in order to receive a refund after the boots have been returned.
Consignments
Consignments will be accepted ONLY if
1. The online form has been completed and submitted with a picture of the item;
2. An acceptance email has been sent to the consignor;
3. The product has arrived at ReSkate in undamaged condition. If the package has been damaged in shipment ReSkate will file a claim with the carrier and notify the sender. If ReSkate pays the cost of shipping to receive the item(s) that will be deducted from any funds received and the remainder will be sent to the customer within thirty (30) days of sale.
4. No boot will be accepted for consignment if any of the following apply:
Ankle creases
Torn lining
Severely scuffed toes, blade hash marks, raw outer leather (leather finish has scraped off)
Lining of boot tongue is torn, reduced to no padding or compacted padding
Stitching on any part of the boot has been severed
Should you want to donate to ReSkate you may, with confirmation from ReSkate (Contact Form), send the items to ReSkate at your own expense. No merchandise will be accepted without authorization from ReSkate.
Upon sale of the consigned merchandise the consignor will receive a check within thirty (30) days of sale for the balance per consignment agreement.
Free Shipping:
If boots are purchased that include Free Shipping and the boot needs to be returned or exchanged because of sizing AND ReSkate has not been consulted, the return of the boot is at the expense of the purchaser. If ReSkate has been consulted prior to purchase and all requirements under “Returns” have been met, the return shipping will be free if requested within 10 days of receipt of the boot. After 10 days of receipt return shipping within the 30-day time frame must be paid by the buyer.
Returns
We understand that sizing is sometimes a difficult process. Returned products must be in the same condition sent, have not been worn (tried on, ok) and in the same packaging they originally arrived in order to receive full credit. ReSkate has a 10day/30day return policy*.
Products returned with the product damaged (unless damaged in shipment – take a picture before you send) will not receive a refund. If damaged in shipment, the refund will be made to the customer and the claim submitted to the shipping partner. When returning ice skates, please face blades in the opposite directions so as not to damage the skate boots during shipping.
We try to give our customers, to the best of the information available, correct sizing information. If the customer asks for sizing advice, we cannot be held liable if it is based on the information that the customer has provided to us. If the customer wishes to send us the tracings of feet for boots and have labeled the tracings correctly, ReSkate will endeavor to provide the best fitting boot we have available. ReSkate’s promise: if you consult ReSkate regarding sizing of boots or inline frames prior to purchase and the boot/frame does not fit and if all the above actions have been taken, ReSkate will provide free shipping return for exchange or refund within 10 days of receipt of the boot. After 10 days the customer will be required to pay the full shipping cost. *ReSkate will split the return cost of any boot shipped overseas if the return is requested within 10 days of receipt. The customer will pay for the return and once the boot is received a 50% credit of the shipping cost will be sent with the refund of the cost of the boot.
For clothing that shows the manufacturer label, we have done our best to provide their sizing charts, if they are available. Sizing measurements taken by ReSkate endeavor to reflect what has been measured accurately and may not match manufacturer’s measurements. Clothing and equipment may be returned any time up to 30 days after receipt.
Return Labels

Within 10 days of receipt of merchandise:
ReSkate will provide a free pre-paid return labels if the customer contacts us within the first 10 days following the receipt of the merchandise.
Between 11 and 30 days of receipt of merchandise:
Within 11 and 30 day receipt of merchandise, customer must return the item at their own expense.
